Today is reveal day for our Challenge Your Stash Group on Splitcoaststampers. Suzy is our hostess this month and she chose the theme of "Spring Flowers". She had a little extra challenge to choose a flower that grows in our yard/garden. Since I live in a maintenance provided neighborhood, I have very little planting space. We did plant a lilac bush last year because that is my favorite flower. The scent is just amazing. This is called Korean Spice which is not as fragrant as the old fashioned that I loved as a child but size wise works well in our space.
So of course I had to make a lilac card. I used Newton Nook Lilac stamp. I stamped it and colored it with my copic markers. I used some purple cardstock and ran the top part of the card through a basket weave embossing folder. I then added a piece of Simple Vintage Lavender Fields paper. The sentiment is from Newton Nook Peony Blooms. I then added a couple pinkfresh purple gems.
Thanks Suzy for a great challenge this month.
