PIP Challenge #2321

Pammie's Inky Pinkies has a fun challenge this week.  Challenge #2321 is a bingo challenge which is always fun.

In addition to a bingo challenge PIP Challenge #2321 is being sponsored by Newton's Nook Designs which is one of my favorite stamp companies.  All their stamps as just adorable.

Newton

For my card today I used the stamp set "Heartfelt Woofs" which was so fun to color.  I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black and then colored the images with my tans and gray copic markers.  I then used the scalloped heart die from the Heart Frames Die Set.  The sentiment was from the same stamp set.  The patterned paper is by Whimsy Stamps called Pets Woof.  So to complete my bingo challenge I used the Heart Die Cut, Heartfelt Woofs image and the sentiment at the bottom.  What a fun challenge.

Be sure and check out Newton's Nook Designs today because they are having a Memorial Day sale and we all like sales.  Thanks for stopping by and be sure and check out what the rest of the design team came up with at PIP Challenges.

Challenge Your Stash

Today is reveal day for our Challenge Your Stash Group on Splitcoaststampers.  Every month someone different is the hostess and comes up with a challenge for us to create from our stash.  Sharon was our hostess this month and her challenge was to weave something or put a basket of your card.  This reminds me of the May baskets we use to make as kids and deliver to houses.

So you can see for my card I decided to use a picnic basket.  I always loved going on picnics and pulling out a picnic basket we had.  The stamp set I used was an old one from Papertrey Ink that had different stamps for different holidays.  I am so sad they no longer carry this set.  I colored the image with my copic markers and used some scrap papers for the card.  I thought it would be fun to cut the paper at an angle and leave enough space for the sentiment that was with the same stamp set.

Inky Paws Challenge #198

I had a little time over the weekend and thought I would make a Christmas card.  Never too early to start those Christmas cards.  I decided to use the sketch challenge over at Newton's Nook Inky Paws Challenge.

I wanted to mix my card up a bit by turning the sketch.
For my card I started by stamping the cute little snowman image  from Newton's Nook Festive Fawns stamp set and coloring it with my copic markers.  I then used the matching die set to cut the image out.

For my papers I used paper from Newton's Nook Christmas Time paper pad and then I stenciled a sheet of white paper using Newton's Nook Plaid Stencil Set using red & green ink.  I then cut it in 3 strips and alternated with the green holly paper.

I always love the sketch challenges and look forward to seeing what other people come up with.

PIP Challenge #2319

Today brings a double challenge for me.  Since today is the 15th I am posting my card for our Creative Crew on Splitcoaststampers and it is also my Monday to post for Pammie's Inky Pinkies.  Today Pammie is giving away a give certificate to Sweet n Sassy Stamps to a lucky winner.

For my card today I am using a stamp from "Best of the Bunch" by Avery Elle.  I love foxes and our theme for our Creative Crew is flowers so I thought this would be a good selection.

I colored the image with my copic markers and then used the matching die to cut the image out.  I then used a scalloped oval for the background.  The flowers are from "Garden Variety" by Taylored Expressions which were fun to scatter on the front of the card.  The designer papers are from New Day by Echo Park.  You can see what the other members of the creative crew did by clicking on their name below.

I was the hostess this month for the Creative Crew and my theme for the month was flowers.  I asked the girls to post their favorite flower.  Mine would be a lilac.  Love the scent and beautiful colors of the lilac.  An additional challenge was to color a bookmark that I sent everyone.  Below is mine that I colored using copic markers.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope to see your projects over at PIP Challenges.

PIP Challenge #2317

Time again for another challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies.  PIP Challenges is the sponsor this week and they will be giving out a $10 Gift Certificate to Power Poppy.

We were able to use any image we wanted so I decided to use a card I made for a Splitcoaststamper challenge I am in.

The stamp I used was from Whimsy Animals Collection called "Duck".  I colored the image with my copic markers and then cut out the image with a MFT Stitched Arch Die.  I added the sun and a ric rac die cut image to the card.  I tried to find a sentiment that would work but ended up typing it up on the computer.

I hope you join us for the challenge this week over at PIP Challenges.

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
