Challenge Your Stash

I am in a group on Splitcoaststampers and each month we get a new challenge to create something from our stash with a theme the hostess has chosen.  Well this month was my month to come up with a challenge.  I love looking around outside at nature and seeing all the beautiful flowers and insects that they bring.  My favorite are butterflies so I challenged everyone to use a butterfly on their card.

I love pulling out stamp sets that I haven't used in a long time.  For this challenge I selected Stampin Up Watercolor Wings for my image and used Stampin Up Rich Razzelberry ink to stamp the butterfly. I then found papers (49 & Market Lilac Vintage Artistry) that blended well with my butterfly.  The enamel dots and washi tape are from the same line.  The sentiment is by Waffle Flower called Jars Sentiments.

I can't wait to see all the beautiful butterflies my crafty friends have come up with.  Such a great group to be in and it is always full to use things in my stash.

PIP Challenge #2225

This week Pammie's Inky Pinkies is giving away a MFT  $10 Gift card.  Who wouldn't want a gift card from My Favorite Things

The design team was told them could use anything for the challenge this week so I went to one of my favorite My Favorite Things stamp set.  It is called Spread Your Wings.

I started my card my using a Tim Holtz Burlap stencil and used Distress Oxides in Salvaged Patina, Saltwater Taffy and Squeezed Lemonade.  I colored the butterflies with my copic markers and fussy cut them out and pop dotted them on to my card.  I used several colors of the Pretty Pink Posh gems to make the card pop.

I hope to see some wonderful creations this week at Pammie's Inky Pinkies.

Dueling Darlings

I am so excited to post my card today for our Dueling Darlings challenge.  Jeanette is our hostess this month and came up with a challenge of "Women of Strength".  Jeanette sent an envelope just full of goodies.   As a little side challenge, we are honoring Kelly who is our fearless leader of this group and a definite woman of strength.  I met Kelly through Splitcoaststampers and she is just one of those people you instantly love.  She makes you feel that you are special and encourages you in every way.  Kelly has had alot of struggles in the years that I have known her.  Through all her struggles her faith remains important to her and shows what a true Christian is.  She is the worlds best grandma, mother and friend to all that she meets.  I have no idea where she finds the time but she is always posting fun videos on her You Tube channel called Kelly Santi Designs.  She also maintains a blog called Sandcastle Stamper that is just amazing.

So my card today is honor of my dear friend Kelly who loves the color green, is a true friend and shares my passion of coffee.

I colored the images with the color green in mind with my copic markers.  For my card I used Hello Bluebird "Frosty Mornings" stamped image.  The sentiment on the outside of the card is Simon Says/Pink Fresh "Next Level Amazing".  The sentiment inside the card is from Great Impressions called "Only as strong".

You will see other items on my card that I used:
Designer Paper - Moxxie Coffee Addict, Paper Studio Cozy Little Christmas, Recollections Stocking Stuffer Paper Pad
Ribbons - Ribbon Boutique
Embellishments - Paper Studio Glitter Enamel Dots and Wooden Coffee Cup, Taylored Expressions Gold Drip Drops , button, corner photo tab and a few sequins.

Be sure and check out what the rest of the teams have posted today.

PIP Challenge #2223

Welcome to Pammie's Imky Pinkies Challenge #2223.  This week were are being sponsored by Gerda Steiner Designs.

For my card this week I am using the digital stamp from Gerda Steiner Designs called "Dog and Butterfly"
I had so much fun with this adorable image.  I first printed it on my printer and then colored it with my copic markers.  I added the stitched sun die (Lil Inkers Designs - out of business) and swirl stitched cloud die (Memory Box) at the top of my card to give it a little more interest.  The blue paper I used the Cloudy Skies Piercing Plate by Taylored Expressions.

I hope you check out Gerda Steiner Designs.  They have some adorable digital stamps and clear stamps.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
