Challenge Your Stash

Today is reveal day for our Challenge Your Stash Group over on Splitcoaststampers.  It is always so fun to see what our hostess can come up with where we pull out something from our stash and make a fun card with it.

Today's hostess is Danielle and she challenged us to make a fun fold card and include the color red.  Well the first card I made was very pretty but didn't realize there was a 2nd part to the challenge and I had not included any red on the card.

So I ended up with this card which has a fun fold flap.

When you open the card there is a sentiment inside.

The papers are from Simple Stories Apron Strings.  The flowers are all from a MFT Die set called Stitched Blooms.  The Happy Birthday and sentiment inside the card are from PTI.  I used the Stampin Up nesting die for the flap.

Thanks to Danielle for a great challenge this month.

PIP Challenge #2107

Today over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies we are on to Challenge #2107.  We are so lucky to be sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps this week.  I just love their digital stamps.  The choices there are endless.

For my card I decided to use the stamp Valentine Jar because I thought the card would be perfect for Valentines Day.

The image was so fun to color.   I just used a few cut out hearts to accent the image.

Thanks for checking out my card.  I hope you join us this week over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Classy Card Ladies February Card

Well the 15th of the month means it is time for our Classy card Ladies.  So this will be the first of two posts today because I also have a card for our design team on Pammie's Inky Pinkies.

I absolutely loved the them that Suzy and Debby came up with this month.  They chose the theme "Cactus".  We sure don't see many cactus here in Kansas but I do admire them.

The card image I used for my card today is called "Cactus Mailbox" by Impression Obsession.  The papers are from Paper Studios and go perfectly with the image.

The embellishments I used were:

Floral Garden Grosgrain Ribbon, Twine, Paper Studio Flowers, Crafters square sequins, eyelet outlet green enamel dots and Jot paper clip.  The sentiment was from Papertrey Ink called "Birthday Basics".

Be sure and check out the Diamonds and Pearls creations below by clicking on their names.  It is always fun to see what the other gals come up with each month.

Newtons Nook Inky Paws Challenge

I recently purchased some new stamps from Newton's Nook Designs and I must say the stamp set "Heartfelt Love" is one of my favorites from their new release.  Maybe because I love chocolates or maybe I just love to color. This stamp set also has a matching die set called Heart Frames Die Set.

I decided to used the sketch over at the Inky Paws Challenge for my card today.

This was such a fun sketch to use.  You can see my card below that I made using this sketch.
You can see that I loved using the pink and brown copic markers to make this card.  Thanks to Newton's Nook for such a great new release this month.  I am always a fan of anything heart shaped.

PIP Challenge #2105

Wow what happened to January?  Seems like the month just flew by.  Happy February.  Today Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge #2105 is being sponsored by Star Stampz.

For my card today I was able to use the digital stamp "Cute Heart Valentines".

I printed this image off on my printer and then colored it with my copic markers.  I used circle dies to cut the image out and the black background circle.  I also used a SU die for the background for the sentiment.

This will make a perfect valentine card.  It is so nice to be able to size a digital stamp to any size you want.  Thanks to Star Stampz for creating such adorable images.

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges:

Creative Knockouts:  #386 - Diecuts & Punches

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
