Well the month of May sure went fast. I can't believe it is the 28th already. This means that today is reveal day for our challenge on Splitcoaststampers in our Challenge Your Stash group. Sue was our hostess this month and she challenged us to use the spotlight technique.
I found this stamp in my stash which was unmarked so I believe it is a stamp set from Heartfelt Creations. I decided the spotlight the flowers on the stamp set. I added the Happy Retirement sentiment in the center of the flowers.
Great challenge Sue.

PIP Challenge #2021
For my card today I wanted to make a small thank you card so I used the adorable Tulip Shaped Card from The Cutting Cafe.
This was such an easy card to make because they supply the cutting files for you when you purchase their images. I cut out the tulip base first on the green and then found some scrap papers that I had to make this little card. The sentiment also came with the image.
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

The Project Bin
I had so much fun with my card this week for The Project Bin.
For my card today I used the stamp set "Defined" from The Project Bin. This is going to make a great get well card. For the bandaids I cut 2 strips of paper 1" x 3" and used a corner rounder on all 4 corners. I found matching color papers and cut out 1" squares. I then ran them through an embossing folder that made it look like an actual bandaid. I then used a small heart punch for the hearts and added them to the center of the bandaid.
A super simple card but I'm sure it would warm someone's heart if they weren't feeling well.
Thanks for checking out my card this week. Be sure and check out all the other ideas using this stamp set at The Project Bin under the "Defined" stamp set.

Mystery Image Swap Round 58
Today I am posting a picture of a card I made for our Mystery Image Swap Round 58 on Splitcoaststampers. Terry was our hostess this month and she selected the stamp "A Life She Loved" by Taylored Expressions. I do love all of Taylored Expressions stamps and was so excited that Terry chose this for our image this month.
I colored the image with my copic markers and decided to use a simple layout so the colored brushes would stand out.
Thanks Terry for a great challenge this month.

Dueling Darlings
Well the 15th of the month sure rolled around quickly this time. I can't believe how time flies by. It is so nice to see the warmer weather and all the beautiful flowers blooming.
The 15th of the month means it is time for our Dueling Darlings challenge over on Splitcoaststampers. Jeanette and Kelly were our hostesses this month and they came up with a fantastic challenge. The theme was "Bargain Hunters" and boy did they come up with some neat items for the challenge.
The image that was selected from Jeanette's stash was Happy Flowers by Sparkle N Sprinkle. I do love my flowers so I had so much fun coloring it with my copic markers. The designer paper is from the Recollections Home Basics Paper Pad. The Ribbons are from Amuse and the Baker's twine is from Target Dollar spot. The Heart charm was a real bargain (75% off) at Hobby Lobby and she found the sequins at the thrift store.
Well I love a bargain also and had so much fun with my kit this month. Thanks to Kelly and Jeanette for a great theme.

May Cards for Monthly Image Swap
Today I thought I would post pictures of my cards I made for our Monthly Image swap over on Splitcoaststampers. I have been with this group for several years and I have so much fun seeing what everyone comes up with and challenges us to create with.
This month we had 2 hostesses (one being myself). The second person was Jessica.
This was Jessica's image (Birthday Splash by Stampendous). I just love the House Mouse images. They are so fun to color. I even put a little bit of glossy accents on the frosting to give it a little shine. We were also supposed to use our favorite embellishment on our card. I guess mine would be enamel dots. Although I do love my dies and I especially love this flag die that I used at the top of the card.
The second card was an image I selected called "Big Birthday Wishes" by Two Paper Divas. They are such a go to stamp for me and I am still so sad that they are out of business. I decided to go with a colorful background and used my copic markers to match. So much fun.
So those are my May cards and I had fun creating with these fun images.

PIP Challenge #2019
Monday rolls around and that means it is time for another challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies. For my card today I decided to use the digital stamp from Bugaboo Digital Stamps called Spring Bird - Flower Swing . I just love the digital stamps at Bugaboo because they have so many to pick from and so fun to color.
I printed off the image on my Canon Printer and then colored it with my copic markers. I used fun papers from Echo Park called Spring Fling. I added a few recollection flowers and placed in the top right hand corner to add a little pizazz.
Such a pretty spring birthday card. There is not a sponsor this month at Pammie's Inky Pinkies but Pam is offering a $5 gift certificate to Paper Smooches Stamps as a prize. Good luck to everyone who decides to join us over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies.

Crafters of Faith
Well the 7th of the month sure rolled around quickly and that means today is reveal day for our crafters of faith group on Splitcoaststampers.
Barb is our hostess this month and she chose the scripture Isaiah 40:31 as our scripture for this month. "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Barb challenged us to make a project that showcases strength that you have received from your faith or something that you are not strong at, but are working to be better at.
For my card I am using Newton's Nook Rain Boots stamp set. I decided that something I am not strong at is watercoloring so I decided to use my watercolors to color this card.
I even did a little watercolor wash for the background. I struggle with shading on watercoloring and think it is something I just need to work at.
Thanks Barb for a great challenge this month.

Mother's Day Card
Today my card for The Project Bin is in honor of Mother's Day and to celebrate all those wonderful mothers out there. This Mother's Day will be the second one without my mom. I think about here every day and miss her more than I thought possible.
For my card today I am using the stamp set "Defined" from The Project Bin. I am finding that this is such a versatile stamp set and the possibilities are endless.
I fold a wonderful tutorial for this Triangle Fun Fold Card by Jackie Bolhuis on her blog. Great directions and such an easy card to make.
Be sure and check out the stamp set on The Project Bin and see all the other great cards that were made using this stamp set by the creative Design Team.
And a special Happy Mother's Day greeting to all my friends and family who are such wonderful mothers.
