Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps

Today Team 1 is up in posting projects for the Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps Blog.  Be sure and check out some of the other great creations from the team.  For my card today I decided to go vintage.
I stamped this adorable image "Bailey" which is a rubber stamp on watercolor paper.  I then used my zig watercolor markers to color the image.  Isn't she adorable.  To me she is so vintage.   Have you been to the Prickley Pear store recently.  Check out their inventory.

Challenge Your Stash

Well it is time again for Challenge Your Stash.  This is a group I participate in with Splitcoast Stampers.  It is such a fun challenge because I get to use what I have.  And we all know I would never need to go to another craft store in my life and still have plenty of supplies to make any card.  This months challenge was to make your own background.  We were not allowed to use any designer paper.  Guess that means I won't be dipping in to my paper stash.  But this is one of my favorite challenges because I love making my own backgrounds.
I started by stamping the flower with Archivers Black Ink on Watercolor paper and then using a clear embossing powder to make the black lines stand up a bit.  The stamp set I used was "You've Got This" by Stampin Up.  The sentiment is also from that stamp set.  I then masked around the edges with tape and started sponging around the edges inside the box.  I used Distress Inks Wild Honey and Gathered Twig.  With the tape still on there, I stamped a few background stamps with Soft Suede Ink.  These were from Gorgeous Grunge and Timeless Textures from Stampin Up.

So thanks to Darlene for a great challenge.  I loved it.

Time again for another challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies Blog.  This week is being sponsored by Sasayaki Glitter.  Be sure and visit their site because they have such adorable digital images.
I had fun with my image called Tea Mouse.  I thought this was such an adorable image.  I started out by selecting my designer paper (From Stampin Up) and then colored the image to match the paper.  I used a few stickles on the cupcakes to add a little glitter.  Remember Anything Goes at PIP Challenges.  Why don't you join us with your creation?  And a special thanks to Sasayaki Glitter for sponsoring us this week.

Unidentified Swap Image #33

Today is the day we get to reveal our creation for the challenge on SCS.  This image was selected by Linda.  I think I liked this image so well because I got to do lots of coloring.  This is a coloring stamp from Hampton Arts.

Thanks Linda for a great challenge.

Dueling Darlings

Here it is the 15th of the month which means it is time again for another Dueling Darlings Challenge.  This month Carol and Shelly came up with the theme.  The theme this month is "Outdoors".  This is right down my ally since my husband is a bag fisherman. The images are from Clear Dollar Stamps.
And the inside of the card.

Be sure and check out what some of my team mates came up with.

Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps

Today is a fun theme for Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps Blog.  The theme is Round About.

I started out my card by cutting out several circles.  I used the Scalloped circle die to cut out the green.  This is such a beautiful die.  The flowers are both from the Flowers-Clear Stamp Set.  The sentiment and stamped image in the center is from the Circles Set - Sentiments.  I used Distress Ink around all of the edges of the images to give it an antique look.  What a fun card this turned out to be.  Be sure and check out the Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps store because their inventory is amazing.  I am always finding things I must have in their store.

PIP Challenge #1733

Time again for another challenge from Pammie' Inky Pinkie Challenges.  This week we are being sponsored by MHK Designs.  I am amazed at the talent that Mynn has in creating her wonderful digital stamps.  Love her designs.

For my card today I decided to use an image from her Butterfly Elements Digital Stamp set.

I colored the image with my copic markers.  The sentiment is from the same set.

So join us at PIP Challenges and as usual Anything Goes.

Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps

Today over at the Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps blog, the theme is "Butterflies".   I started out thinking this will be an easy theme because Butterflies are just one of my favorite things.
I started out by first using my Butterfly Die and cutting out several butterflies.  I then stamped them using the buttterfly stamp from the Dragonflies 2 Clear Stamp Set.  I decided that I wanted to do a little different card so I cut out a piece of cardstock 5 1/2 inches x 4 1/4".  I folded it in half to make an A2 card and then trimmed off 2 inches of the card.  This made it look like the butterflies were flying.  What a fun card to make.

Crafters of Faith

Today is the day to post for the Crafters of Faith Challenge group that I am in on Splitcoaststampers.  This group of wonderful Christian ladies have joined this group to use scripture in our inspiration for our project.

August is Lynn's month to serve as hostess of this challenge.  She has selected for her inspiration the  scripture James 1:17 --- Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. We have been encouraged to make a card that celebrates life's simple pleasures which bless our days with joy and beauty and meaning in the cards they create.  Too me life's little pleasures are the flowers we see outside every day.

So for my card I chose a floral set called In Bloom from Papertrey Ink.  I fussy cut the florals out and I stamped with Versamark Ink on the peach colored paper to give it a little background.

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
