Today's challenge today from Twisted Tuesday is to have a nautical theme. The twist is to use 7 embellishments. I used 3 buttons, starburst die, twine ribbon, charm, wave die and 2 pennants die. What fun this card was. I received a stamp set from my SCS friend, Angela. It is called Learning to Sail by Verve Stamps. I just love all the little stamps on this set. I will definitely be using it again.

Stamp Camp
I had a great day at Stamp Camp today at Susan's. I went with my friend, Cass. We had a great time. I had to post pictures of my cards so my friends that missed out could see what we made.
It is so hot here that it was a fun day spent in the house creating fun cards.

Contest Card
I will be going to the Rubber Stamp Convention in July and thought I would try my hand at one of their contests. On Saturday the theme is Tick Tock, Tic Tock. I saw the image from Bugaboo Stamps called Friends don't let Friends Wine Alone. I just love those images. So I decided to add a little time element to the card.
I even found a stamp by Hampton Art to use on the inside of the card. I always like my cards to have a little bit of humor in them. I would like to enter this card in the following challenges.
Crafting When We Can - Mad About Markers (Got to love my copics)
Catch the Bug Challenge Blog - Bingo (Used Bugaboo Stamp Image, Friends, Ribbon)
Thanks for taking a look

Guest Designer for ABC Challenges
I was so excited when Patty from ABC Challenges contacted me and told me that my thank you card that I made for my sister had won the challenge over at ABC Challenges on June 3. Always nice to be recognized.
Today I was asked by Patty at ABC Challenges to be the guest designer for this weeks challenge. The theme was to have an animal somewhere on your card.
This image is from Mo Manning and I absolutely love this sweet little girl hugging her cow. I thought of my sister who has always been somewhat of a cowgirl and is passing it on down to her grand-daughter. It has been a tough week for my sister on the farm so I am dedicating this post to her. She has an enormous capacity in her love of animals, grandkids, siblings, friends and parents.
Thinking of you Deb.

Twisted Tuesday Challenge
Another Tuesday and another Twisted Tuesday Challenge. The challenge for the next two weeks is "Clothes Make the Man" and you were to make a masculine card and the twist was to use clothes somewhere on the card.
This was perfect timing for me because I needed to get my Father's Day Card made and this gave me the extra push. There is a tutorial on Scrapbook & Cards on how to make this shirt. It was actually pretty easy to make.

Masculine Card
I have decided that making a masculine card is one of the most difficult things for me to do. I want to keep keep adding more and more to my card which really doesn't fit in to a masculine card. Two Paper Divas has this wonderful Bingo Card that was on my desk just asking to be used. My friend Vannessa had given me some green burlap and I that it would work perfect for my card.
I have decided to enter this is the following challenges
Kitty Bee Designs - Father's Day Masculine
Crafts 4 eternity - For the Boys
I hope to post later in the week my girly version of the bingo card. Be sure and check back.

Reverse Confetti Sketch Challenge
Well I have been on a real roll lately making cards. It has been so much fun. I came up with another card using the sketch over at Reverse Confetti.
This was another Thank you card I made for a friend. Thanks to Reverse Confetti for giving me a sketch to go with.

Papertake Weekly Challenge
Today's card is an anniversary card that I made for my sister Debbi's 40th wedding anniversary. I went to Papertake Weekly Challenge and found this great sketch to inspire me for this card.
I went to Mo Manning Digital Stamps and found this perfect stamp for the challenge. I used my copics to color the image.
Happy Anniversary Deb!
