Cowboy Ralph
Today I had to go out of my element in making this card. There were no flowers and I didn't use pink. Okay I did put some red cowboy boots on him but I had to have a little fun. This card was made for a challenge over at SCS. This image is cowboy Ralph from Rubbernecker stamps. You can see some of the other cards HERE. It is so fun to see what other people do with the image.

Birthday Card
Today I decided I would make a birthday card and found inspiration in several of the new stamp sets from Two Paper Divas. The designer paper is called Sun Kiss by Prima. This paper reminds me of Kansas with all the sunflowers on it. They have some new clear stamps over at Two Paper Divas and I decided to use several of them. I first started with the Seed packet and stamped on Kraft cardstock. I cut it out and cut a piece of blue cardstock to go in the center. I sent it through the dotted embossing folder because I felt it needed just a little something more. I then used the flower stamp from the stamping embellishment stamp and then used the banner set. All in all I really like the colors in this card and think this will make a great Birthday Card for that special someone.

Twisted Tuesday Challenge
I am loving today's challenge over at Twisted Tuesday Challenges. The challenge today was to use a button and/or brad in your creation. The Twist was to use paper piercing on our creation. I started with My Mind's Eye, Stella and Rose, Hattie Papers which I love the colors. The stamped image is a House Mouse Two-Part Harmony. I am really liking the house mouse stamps. I pierced around the image on the black cardstock and also the gold piece of paper. It didn't exactly show up very well but I still like the card. I put brads in each corner and then used MFT note die for a little embellishment. The sentiment was from Stampin Up. All in all I think this will be a handy thank you card to have on hand in case I need it.

Day 6 of Papertrey Ink Anniversary Celebration
We are at Day 6 of the 6 year anniversary celebration over at Nicole Heady's blog for Papertrey Ink. Today's challenge was to take one of their color combinations and make a project with it. I made the card above using the doggie stamp for PTI Tiny Treats: Valentine and the Happy Birthday Sentiment was from their Thank Big Favorites #12 Stamp Set. I used the color combination they suggested below.
All in all I thought this turned out to be the perfect birthday card for a crazy dog person I know.

PTI Flower Challenge
If you are following Nicole Heady's blog for Papertrey Ink, you will notice that they are celebrating their 6th anniversary. Congrats to them. I have always loved Papertrey Ink and have alot of their stamps and dies. Today I am entering a card for a contest they are having. The challenge was to create some type of wrap, tag or gift packaging project that is inspired by a photo you find on Pinterest. I made a tag and adhered it to my card. I used the rose from the stamp set "Year of Flowers".
This was the picture from Pinterest that inspired my card. Isn't this the most gorgeous flower. I have always loved flowers. So this is my project for today.
Congrats again to Papertrey Ink on their 6th anniversary.

Anniversary Card
Today over at Twisted Tuesday Challenges the challenge is to make something for a loving couple. The twist of the challenge is to use black somewhere in the card. I went to some of my favorite stamp sets for this card. I used to Baroque Motifs set from Stampin Up for the swirl and the flower is from Papertrey Ink called Rosie Posey. If I had to pick a favorite stamp, it would have to be one of these. And to top it off, I used a sentiment stamp from The Angel Company. I really like to combine different stamps. So Happy Anniversary to the creator of Twisted Tuesday Challenges, Melina Pylant.

Birthday Card for Debbi
Happy Birthday to my scrapbooking buddy and sister, Debbi. I know this is a day early but thought I would go ahead and post a picture of her card. She should of received it in the mail already so I don't think I will be ruining the surprise.
She is crazy about that owl punch from Stampin Up so I had to make something using it. I typed the sentiment on the computer "You're never too old to do Goofy Stuff". So Happy Birthday to my sister Debbi.

House Mouse Birthday Card
Today I am posting a picture of a birthday card that I made for a friend of mine who likes cute images of mice. The house mouse ones are always so adorable. I found this image in a stash that I have stamped up and ready to color. I pulled out my copics and went to town.
