Crayon Resist
I used a new technique called crayon resist to make this card. I really like the look and will be trying it again. I always feel that I could of done it just a tad bit better. This stamp set is "Greeting Card Kids" from SU. It has a heart image, back to school image, Christmas image and this halloween image. I colored it in with my copic markers.

Another Hobby Card
Okay I am on a roll so decided to another Hobby Card. This one is reading since I really like a good book. You must read "The Art of Racing in the Rain" by Garth Stein. If you are an animal lover, you will love this book. This bookmark is detachable, you just slip it out and you have a bookmark and a card. Had fun with this one.

Owl Punch
Boy have I had a great weekend. When I have time to do some cardmaking, it is a good weekend. I pulled out my latest purchase from Stampin Up and I must say that I love the new owl punch. The ideas are endless but here a couple things I made. One was a fun card and the other was a bookmark made out of a paper clip. I know that I will be using this punch often.

Hobby Card #2
Anyone that knows me very well will laugh at my next hobby card. Of course my next favorite hobby is shopping so I had to make a card with that theme. I had alot of fun making this card. I stamped it once on while paper and then again on matching papers and cut them out for the dress and the bags. Thought it turned out pretty good. I used the copic markers to color in.

Emboss Resist Card
I can look at the new Stampin Up catalog day in and day out and I am amazed how someone else can see something I missed. A friend at work showed me pg 132 which used a emboss resist technique so of course I had to come home and try it. This was my final result. I think if I did it again I would darken the ink on the butterflies. Fun for the first time though.
