Notecards

These were some initial notecards that I made up for my secret sister. Just used my initial stamp set, 2 circle punches and my scallop circle for the center. I then cut off 1/2 inch off the bottom of the card and used my scallop border punch. I then glued on a 1" piece of paper to the bottom to give it a colorful look.

Tea Bag Holder

This was a fun tea bag holder that I cased from another swap. You use #2 cone coffee filters. Works great. Can't wait to make something else with them. Of course I always want to fill with chocolate.

Bookmark Swap

These were 2 bookmarks I made for a SCS swap. These were fun to do. Can't wait to see what comes back my way. Since I read several books at a time, I never have enough bookmarks.

Calendar

This was a calendar that I made for my secret sister. I began with a 4 1/2 x 8 inch piece of cardstock and folded it at the bottom so it would stand up. I used the ric rac die cut from PTI. Can't wait to try it with wool.

2010 Quilt Show

Went to the yearly Machine Quilt Show in Overland Park this last weekend and saw some beautiful quilts. Decided to come home and start a new quilt. I bought a jelly roll (tons of 2 1/2 inch strips) in pink, brown, teal and red. Can't wait to get started on it. In the meantime, thought I would post some of the quilts that I saw at the show.

Notebook

I found these cute notebooks at the dollar store and decided to add a little decoration to the front and send to my secret sister in SCS. Love this PTI stamp set. Anything with flowers, buttons and ribbon.

Mothers Day

Well I finally got my camera back from my sister after leaving it at her house on Mother's Day. So now I thought I would post the Mothers Day card that I made for her. I just love these bunnies. Colored them in with my copic markers.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful mothers. I got to spend the day with my family and had a wonderful time. Since I left my camera at my sisters, I won't be able to post pictures for a couple of days. Guess I can get caught up on my projects. Have a great week.

Last Stamp Camp Card

This was my favorite card that we made at Stamp Camp. I just love that bird punch from SU. We also used a flower pot die cut and punched out the flowers with the flower punch from SU. I am going to be using this layout often.

Thank You Card

We made this card at stamp camp also on Saturday. We used bark from her tree which I though was a great idea. Definitely a great idea for going green. We cut the bird out to give it dimension and used a border punch for the bottom. The blue background was done with a cuttlebug embossing folder.

T-Shirt Quilt

This was a cute t-shirt quilt that I made for a good friend for her daughter who is graduating from high school. She furnished me with her t-shirts and even a skirt from her uniform that she wore in grade school. I added a couple pictures and thought it turned out great.

A Couple More from Stamp Camp

Two cards that my photography does not due justice. The airplane was a cute die cut. Of course I had to stamp in a female pilot. Some boy is going to love this card. The sympathy card was a fun technique using water and blotting. Such fun.

These were 2 more cards that we made using different die cuts. I just loved the phone die cut. The horse was adorable also. We used the Versa Mark in making the horseshoes. Can't wait to make more like these.

May Stamp Camp

These were some of the cards that I made at Stamp Camp this month. Just loved them all. I will try and post a couple a day. Being the animal lover that I am, loved making a cat and dog card. And nice to know that I have both sets at home from Stampin Up.

New Blog Look

I am trying to fix up my blog a bit. I thought it was a bit boring. Still learning about how to add some new features to it. I hope to post my fantastic cards that I made at Stamp Camp yesterday. Another fun time.
