BYSHC Falling for the Holiday Linky Party

I am winding down my Christmas card making.  Thanks to BYSHC Falling for the Holiday Linky Party I have a nice start to having my Christmas cards completed.

For my card today I am using the "Holiday Haul" stamp set.  I just love this truck.  I stamped the image and used the matching die to cut it out.  I made some white hills and used a Poppy Stamps tree die to use in the background.

This is the last of my Newton's Nook Designs cards.  It was fun pulling stamps out of my stash and using them.  Sad that we can only use them once a year.

Thanks again to BYSHC Falling for the Holiday Linky Party for inspiring us to get Christmas cards made.

BYSHC Falling For The Holiday Linky Party

So far so good in making a holiday card every day for the  BYSHC Falling for the Holiday Linky Party.  It feels good to get so many Christmas cards done early.

For Day 6 I am using "Heartfelt Holidays" by Newtons Nook Designs.  I stamped the image and colored with my copic markers.  I then used the Heartfelt Heart Die to cut the image out.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

I went ahead and used the color challenge over all Inky Paws Challenge by Newtons Nook Designs.

So I have 2 more cards to make to meet my goal to have a card every day for the BYSHC Falling For the Holiday Linky Party.

BYSHC Falling For The Holiday Linky Party

I can't believe that it is Day 5 of the BYSHC Falling for the Holiday Linky Party.   I am feeling such a sense of accomplishment by getting Christmas cards done early.  This is definitely a first for me.

For my card today I am using Newton Nook Designs "Festive Fawns" stamp set.  Can you tell Newton's Nook is one of my favorite stamp companies?  This stamp set is retired but it is still one of my favorite stamp sets.  I just love the adorable deer in the set.

After stamping the deer and sled of packages on Neenah Classic Crest paper, I colored it with my copic markers.  I used the colors in the Inky Paws Challenge this month.

After coloring the image with my copic markers, I used the matching die to cut it out.  The background die is "Aspen Trees" by Stampin Up.  I stamped the sentiment and used a scallop oval punch to cut it out.

So another Christmas card done and back to the drawing board to make a few more this week.

BYSHC Falling For The Holiday Linky Party

I am having so much fun making Christmas cards.  So nice to get a jump start on my cards.  I have made another card for the BYSHC Falling For the Holidays 2025 Linky Party.

For my card today I am using the stamp set "Cup of Cocoa" from Newtons Nook Designs.  I recently purchased the Postage Stamp Layout Die from Newtons Nook and thought it would be fun to use with this stamp set.  Who doesn't love a fun cup of cocoa?

I am also entering this card in this months challenge over At Newtons Nook Inky Paws Chalenge which is a color challenge.

Check back tomorrow for another fun Christmas card I am making.  Thanks to BYSH Cardmakers for getting me motivated to make my Christmas cards early.

BYSHC Falling for the Holidays

Today is Day 3 of making Christmas cards.  I am having fun pulling out my Christmas stamps and making some holiday cards.

For my card today I used the stamp set "Holiday Haul" from  Newtons Nook Designs.  I think that truck is just the cutest.  I stamped off the images and colored them with my copic markers.  I used the matching dies to cut them out.  I used a scallop oval die for the background.

I was able to use the color challenge over at Inky Paws Challenge by Newtons Nook.

I hope you are following along with BYSH Cardmakers and seeing some of the fantastic holiday cards being made.

BYSHC Falling for the Holidays

Today is Day 2 of making Christmas cards.  Thanks to BYSH for helping me get jump started on my holiday cards.

For my card today I made a holiday scene with a retired stamp set from Newtons Nook Designs.  The stamp set was called Festive Fawns.  I stamped off the images and colored them with my copic markers.  I used the matching dies to cut them out.  The christmas trees in the back are from Poppy stamps that I have had for a long time.  I thought they made a nice background for the deer.
I was able to use the color challenge over at Inky Paws Challenge by Newtons Nook.

I am really enjoying getting a head start on my Christmas cards.  Thanks to BYSH for doing this party every year.

BYSHC

I have decided that it is time to get started on my Christmas Cards.  The perfect way to do that is to join the BYSHC group for fun ad inspiration.

For my card today I created fun scene using the Merry Christmas Digital Stamp from Sunbird Spark.

I printed off the image on my printer and then colored it with my copic markers.  I then cut the image out with my Brother Scan n Cut.  I think this made for a cheery card.

This week over at Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenges they are being sponsored by Sunbird Spark.

So Day 1 of my card for BYSHC is done.  I hope to submit a Christmas card every day.  This will really help me in making my Christmas cards for the year.

Creative Crew

This months Creative Crew challenge is hosted by Lorraine.  Her theme is "Halloween".

Lorraine sent us a fun kit to make this halloween card.  I used the 2 haunted house images from Taylored Expessions "Haunted Boo-levard".  I colored 2 of the house with my copic markers.  I loved using these bright colors for my card.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts.    Lorraine also sent us some baker's twine and some fun little pumpkins and bats that I decided to add to my card.

I hope you check out the rest of the team to see what they came up with.

PIP Challenge #2541

Time for another challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies.  This weeks challenge is being sponsored by Sunbird Spark.

I sure hope you check out their website because they have some fun scrapbooking supplies.  I am quite fond of their digital stamps.  For my card today I am using the digital stamp "Brewing Happiness".  I thought it would be fun to make a Halloween card.

I started by printing off the image on my printer and then coloring it with my copic markers.  When you purchase the stamp set, you get a choice of individual stamps or a bonus set that is already set up for an A-2 card.  I decided to make mine square.  After coloring the image with my markers, I did a light cloud stencil in dark gray in the background.  The sentiment is also from that set.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure and check out Sunbird Spark.

PIP Challenge #2539

This week over at Pammies Inky Pinkies we are doing a Fall/Halloween theme sponsored by Whimsy Stamps.

Did you know that Whimsy Stamps have Digital Images?  They are absolutely gorgeous and so fun to print off and color.  I loved this challenge so much that I decided to make 2 cards.

The first card I used the digital stamp "Autumn Banner".  I printed it off and colored it with my copic markers.  I always have fun when I get to color a fox.  The green paper is by Taylored Expressions called Playful Patterns Harvest.  The Happy Die is by Pink Fresh called Classic Word Die.

The second card I made I used the digital image "Candy Mouse".  I printed it off and colored it with my copic markers.  I used the Doodlebug "Hey Pumpkin" paper for the card base.

I hope you check out Whimsy Stamps because I always love finding somewhere to get a nice selection of digital images.

Inky Paws Challenge #244

This month over at Inky Paws Challenge they are doing a fall/Halloween theme.

I would say Fall is my favorite time of year.  Right now we are having cooler weather and I am loving our daily walks.  I also love making Fall cards because I just love coloring pumpkins.
I found this stamp set "Newtons Nook Pumpkin Latte" in my stash and decided to make a fall card with it.  I was sad to see this set has been discontinued.  But they do have lots of other fall stamp sets to choose from.  I just purchased a cute one from their site and hope to post a picture of it next week.

I used the die "Frames & Tags" from Newtons Nook and I love how there are so many possibilities with this die.  The paper I used was Autumn Paper Pad from Newtons Nook.  The paper is so nice and heavy and is so nice to work with.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure and check out the other cards submitted on the Inky Paws Challenge this month.

I am also putting this card on Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenges because Newtons Nook was our wonderful sponsor this week.

I am also using this card for our Challenge Your Stash group  on Splitcoaststampers because the theme is to make a fall card.

I know yesterday was the 15th and reveal day for our Creative Crew group but I had my PIP Challenge for our Design Team to post.  So I thought I would post my card today.

Terry was our hostess this month for our Creative Crew group.  She chose "Picture Perfect" stamp set from My Favorite Things for our challenge.

The polaroid die cuts are from My Favorite Things also called Instaframe.  The papers are from American Crafts and Stampin Up.

I colored the images with my copic markers.  I used the frame die and colored it with Broken China Distress oxide using my blending brush.

PIP Challenge #2535

I can't believe it has been two weeks since I posted for Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges.  The older I get it seems like the faster time goes by.  Our sponsor this week is Vrada Sharma LLC.

For my card today I decided to use the digital stamp "Camelia Frames".  I really like the flexibility of this stamp because you can use any sentiment when making your card.
I printed off the oval from the stamp set and the camelia flower with leaves and colored them with my copic markers.  I then sponged the oval with Broken China Distress oxide to give it the blue color.  I then fussy cut the floral image and the oval.  I chose a simple background for the image.  I love using up my scraps to create a card.  The sentiment was from a package by Pinkfresh called Rainbow Sentiments.  It was so fun to just pick one out for the card.

Challenge Your Stash

Today is reveal day for our Challenge Your Stash group on Splitcoaststampers.  Barb was our hostess this month and her challenge is to use water on your card, either an image or watercolor, spritz or the word water.  I always love this challenge every month because I go to my stash and find stamps I have never used.  My card today is the perfect example.

I have always loved foxes so I had purchased this adorable stamp set "Ahoy Fox" by Dare 2B Artzy.  I finally found an occasion to pull it out and use it.  The paper has waves in the background and was a scrap in my stash.  I tore a piece of brown paper at the bottom and used Vintage Photo Distress Ink on the edges.  I colored the image with my copic markers, fussy cut it out and pop dotted it on the card.

What a great challenge this month from Barb.

PIP Challenge #2533

It is time for another challenge over at Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenges.  Challenge #2533 is being sponsored by Vrada Sharma LLC.

There are so many beautiful digital stamps on their website and it is hard to decide which one to use for my card.  I decided to go with the Hot Air Balloon Stamp Set.  I thought this was such a pretty set.
I started out the card by printed the image on my printer and then coloring it with my copic markers.  I then fussy cut the image out.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  I just love the additional of the floral images on the balloon.  The background paper is a piece of scrap paper I had.  I love to collect paper with clouds for the background.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure and check out PIP Challenges and see what the rest of the design team came up with.

Creative Crew

It's the 15th of the month which means it is time for our Creative Crew challenge.  Jeanette is our hostess and she sent us alot of fun goodies for the challenge which is "Add Your Favorite Color".  I had a hard time with this challenge because it is like having a favorite Child.  So I am going with my favorite color combo which is pink/turquoise.

The image is Gina K Smiling Blooms which was stamped on Gina K Base Weight White cardstock with Hero Arts Intense Black Ink.  I used the Pink Fresh Studio Elongated Lattice Die and sponged it with Broken China Distress oxide.  The pink is Paper Cut Crystal Diamond Glitter Cardstock and sponged with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide.  I colored the image with my copic markers and added a few gems for bling.

Check out the rest of the Creative Crew to see what they came up with.

Thanks to Jeanette for a great challenge this month.

It's All About Christmas

I decided to make another Christmas card this week.  I keep thinking if I make one Christmas card a week until Christmas, I will have plenty to mail out.

For my card this week I decided to go to Inky Paws Challenge by Newtons Nook Designs.  The challenge this week is a sketch challenge.

This was such a fun challenge.  For my card I am using the stamp set "Newton Loves Coffee".   The sentiment is from the Cup of Cocoa stamp set.  The paper is from Happy Pawlidays by Recollections.
Such a fun card to make.  I am also entering this card in the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge since the theme this month is "Coffee, Tea or Cocoa".

Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge

I can't believe it is August already.  It says to me I need to start working on my Christmas cards as Christmas will be here before we know it.  For inspiration for my card I went to the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge.

The theme of this challenge is to make a card with a Christmas/Holiday theme with Coffee, Tea and/or Cocoa theme.

For my card I am using the stamp set "Cup of Cocoa" by Newton's Nook Designs.  I stamped the images off and colored them with my copic markers.  You can buy the matching dies but I did not so I fussy cut each image out.  For the designer paper I used Not a Creature was stirring by Photoplay.  I also used the A2Card Layout Die.  I think they make the greatest backgrounds for you card.

So one Christmas card down and a lot more to make.

Hope to see you over at the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge.

PIP Challenge #2531

This weeks challenge for Pammies Inky Pinkies is being sponsored by The Cutting Cafe.

I decided to make a couple of cards this week using images from The Cutting Cafe.

The first card I decided to make is an acorn shaped card.  I cut the designs out with my Brother Scan n Cut machine and put it together.  So easy and such a fun card.

The next card I made was using "Birthday Sentiments".   Sometimes you can make the easiest card with sentiments.  There are alot of choices when you purchase this set.  The background for the card is a napkin that a friend gave me.  I just used some modge pod on a piece of 4 x 5 1/4 inch piece of cardstock and laid the napkin over it.  It was so fun to do.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.  Hope you check out some of the other creations by the design team at Pammies Inky Pinkies.

Challenge Your Stash

Today is reveal day for our Challenge Your Stash group at Splitcoaststampers.  Jeanette is our hostess this month and her theme was to create a card with the theme of summer vacation.  I looked through my stamps and thought a beach theme would be fun.

The stamp set I used is Hello Summer by Photoplay.  I stamped the images off and colored them with my copic markers.  I then fussy cut them out and placed them on my scene.  I used some wave paper (I realized later it was upside down) for the background.  The sand is a piece of tan paper torn and sponged with vintage photo distress ink.  The sun is a lil inker die that I use often.  I then stamped the sentiment in the upper left hand corner.

Thanks to Jeanette for a great challenge.

Inky Paws Challenge

They are having a fun challenge over at Newtons Nook Inky Paws Challenge.  It is a color challenge which is always fun.

I just love these colors.  They are so pretty together.  For my card I decided to go with the stamp set "Coffee Delights".  Who doesn't love a good cup of coffee?

I stamped the image on a piece of white cardstock that was cut to 3.5 x 5 inches and colored it with my copic markers.  I used a piece of blue designer paper from Ink Drops - Candy by Craft Consortium for the background of the image.  I added 3 gems to the card as a little splash.

Thanks to Newtons Nook for providing inspiration for my card this week.  Be sure and check out this months Inky Paws Challenge to see what other people created for this challenge.

PIP Challenge #2529

Time again for another challenge from Pammies Inky Pinkies.  This week is being sponsored by Gina K Designs.

I had fun deciding which Gina K Design stamp set to use for my card today.  Since I am needing a few masculine cards, I decided to use the set "Mr Fix it".  To me this is the perfect set to use for a masculine card.
I stamped off the images and used the matching dies to cut them out.  I then colored them with my copic markers.  The background of the card is brown card stock using the sizzix wood grain embossing folder and then brushed with Gina K Designs Cinnamon Ink.  I used a spellbinders nesting die for the gray background and a piece of the green designer paper.  The happy birthday sentiment is "Celebration words" dies by sizzix.  I decided to do the sentiment at an angle.

I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with for the challenge this month.

Creative Crew

Happy July to all.  It is hot in Kansas but what can we expect for July. Since it is the 15th of the month this means it is time for our Creative Crew Challenge.  The theme is perfect this month because we can all relate to it.  The theme is "Crafts" selected by Barb.  This is perfect timing since I have 5 weekends of crafting crops coming up.

The stamp set is "Gus & Gertie - Get Crafty from Taylored Expressions.  The image was stamped with Hero Arts Intense Black on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White paper.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  The patterned paper is from Stamp Up "Follow Your Art".  I colored the image with my copic markers and pop dotted them on to the adorable paper.

This was such a fun image to color and make a card with.  I have the perfect friend to send this to.  Be sure and check out the rest of the team to see what they did with this image.
