Creative Crew

I am so excited for my post today for our Creative Crew group on Splitcoaststampers.  Our hostess this month is Darlene and she selected an adorable image for our challenge this month.

The image she selected is You Are So Loved by Gina K Designs.  I love the small little images because they are so fun to color. The red cardstock in the background is made by using "Cross My Heart" embossing older by Spellbinders. I used the waffle flower postage collage die with a piece of holographic cardstock by Pink & main as my background for these cute images.  I had some scraps of simply vintage my valentine to cut to put as background pieces for the images.  The red hearts were made with Simon Hurley's Bee Sting Lunar Paste applied with a heart stencil by Gina K Designs.

The images were all colored with my copic markers.  I then just placed them on to the squares using pop dots.  I was having so much fun that I used more images for the inside of my card.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my card.  Be sure and click on the names below to see what they did for the challenge.

PIP Challenge #2501

Happy 2025.  I can't believe 2024 went by to quickly.  We are sitting in the aftermath of a huge snowstorm here in Kansas.  Ugh.  I believe we got 10-12 inches of snow in the last 24 hours.  The only good thing is that I was able to sit inside and work on different projects that I had started.

For this weeks challenge at Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenges our sponsor is Polkadoodles.

With all the snow outside and frigid weather I decided to think warmer and start counting down the days until spring.  I am not a fan of winter and normally we have pretty average temperatures in the winter.  I sure hope this isn't a sign that the rest of our winter will be like this.

I decided to make 2 cards for the challenge this week.

For my first card I am using an image from the Spring Has Sprung bundle at Polkadoodles.  I love foxes to if I can find an image with a fox on it, I want to color it and make a card.  I printed the image and then colored it with my copic markers.  I used a scalloped oval die the cut the image out with.

For my second card I am using "Butterfly Flowerpots".  I printed off the image on my printer and colored the image with my copic markers.  The sentiment is from Newtons Nook called Floral Fringe.  The designer paper on both cards is Simple Stories Simple Vintage Meadow Flowers.

So I sure hope these spring cards get us all in the mood for a little warmer weather.  Thanks to Polkadoodles for starting 2025 out with a bang for PIP Challenges.

Challenge Your Stash

Where oh where did 2024 go?  I can't believe we are actually winding down this year.  Since today is the 28th, this means it is time to post my creation for our Challenge Your Stash on Splitcoaststampers.  We are to use something in our stash and not purchase anything for the challenge.  Our hostess this month is Barb and she challenged us to make a Christmas Card with non-traditional colors.

I decided to go with different shades of blue on my Christmas card for the challenge.  The stamp set I used is called "Smitten Stamp Set" from Dare 2b Artzy.  Th paper I used is from Hello Winter by Echo Park Paper.  I just tried to match the blues in the designer paper and colored the images.  I then fussy cut them and put different scraps of paper on the front of the card.

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this doesn't mean we have alot of snow in our future!  HA!  I do not like cold or snow.  I love warmth....  But I do have to admit that the theme Terry came up with is lots of fun.

The stamp set used for my card is called "Bear Hugs" from Taylored Expressions.  We just used scraps of designer paper for the background.  I thought it would be fun to just use different strips of paper for the card.  The gems are from The Paper Studio.

Thanks to Terry for this great challenge.  You can see what the rest of the team did by clicking on their name below.

PIP Challenge #2449

December really seems to be winding down.  Christmas will be here before you know it.  This week's challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges is being sponsored by Newtons Nook Designs.

I absolutely love their stamps over at Newton's Nook Designs.  I had intended to use something new I purchased from Newton's Nook Designs but it did not arrive in time which means I waited too long to order.  I am kind of a last minute gal.
For my card today I am using the stamp set "Frosty Folks" from Newton's Nook.  Unfortunately this stamp is retired and no longer available but I just loved it and had to use it.  If you are looking for cute snowmen images, go to Newtons Nook HERE.  The faces on these adorable snowmen are just so cute.

I colored the image with my copic markers and then fussy cut the image out.  I used some scrap pieces of designer paper that I had and came up with this cute little card.  I am happy to say I have another Christmas card for my stash.  Now if they would all get mailed I would be a happy camper.

I am also entering this card in Inky Paws Challenge where you were to post a holiday card you are working on.

Hopefully my new stamps and dies will arrive this week and I will be able to post another card.  In the mean time be sure and join us over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges and create something for the challenge this week.

Challenge Your Stash

Happy Thanksgiving!  I hope everyone is having a wonderful day.  Mine will be relaxing at home with a turkey dinner in the evening.

Today is also reveal day for our Challenge Your Stash on Splitcoaststampers.  I just love this group because it challenges me to dig through my stash and use something I haven't used in a while.

Our challenge today comes from Lorraine and her them for us is "Think Pink".  This was the perfect challenge because I needed to make a birthday card for a friend of mine.

The image I used was from Birthday Blooms by Stampin Up.  I'm not sure what year this stamp is from but I do know I have had it for a while.  I just love florals because it gives me a chance to pull out my copics and do some coloring.  The designer paper is from Simple Vintage Meadow Flowers.  I found some pink gems in my stash along with a small piece of pink ribbon to finish up the card.

What a fun theme this month.

PIP Challenge #2447

Can you believe we are winding down the month of November?  Where does the time go?  Todays challenge over at Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenges is sponsored by The Cutting Cafe.

I have decided that I cannot have too many Christmas cards so I decided to make another one for the challenge this week.

For my card I used the set "Fun with Frosty the Snowman" set.  You get so many fun stamped images with this set.   I first printed off the blue Brrr page which fit my card perfectly.  I then printed the snowmen and colored them with my copic markers.  This was such a fun card to make.

Thanks to The Cutting Cafe for providing us with such inspiration.
