Creative Crew

It's time again for another challenge for our Creative Crew group on Splitcoaststampers.   Jeanette was our hostess this month and I have to say I was a little stumped on her challenge.  The theme she came up with is "Career Day".  I didn't really have any stamps that I thought would work for this challenge but I came across  a Unity Stamp and thought it would work.

So my career day would be for a Coffee Barista.  This stamp I used is Planner Gal Stay Cozy by Unity Stamps.  I stamped the image off and colored it with my copic markers.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  After coloring the image I cut it out using the MFT Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle Die.  I used a Close to My Heart Oval Die of the Sentiment.  The paper I used is Coffee and Friends by Echo Park.  I also had some ephemera to match so I used the pennant and cup at the bottom from that stash.

So thanks Jeanette for making us put our thinking caps on.  I always love the challenges you come up with.

Be sure and check out the rest of the team and see what they came up with for this challenge.

PIP Challenge #2637

This week's challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges is being sponsored by Polkadoodles which is one of my favorite digital image company.

They have some adorable fall images and I decided I had to use one.  I love foxes so any time I can incorporate a fox in my card, I will do it.

I decided to go with the image "Pumpkin Autumn Fall Fox".  I colored the image with my copic markers and then fussy cut the image out.  I found a fence die that I had.  I think possible it was one I purchased from Papertrey Ink years ago.  I love using things that have been in my stash for a long time.  The sentiment is from Sunny Studio called "Autumn Greeting".  I found some scraps of paper that I used for the background.

I hope you check out all the fun images over at Polkadoodles and that you join our challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies.

PIP Challenge #2635

Today's challenge over at Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenges is being sponsored by Patties Creations.

Since this is the 5th Saturday of the month we also have a special challenge and the theme is "Apples".

I found this old image that Patties Creations created and decided to use it for my card.  I printed it off and colored it with my copic markers.  The background paper is Welcome Autumn by Carta Bella.  The apples are from Lawn Fawn "Build A Barrel".  The sentiment is by Taylored Expressions "Tag Team Thanks".

I look forward to seeing all those creations using the theme "Apples".

Challenge Your Stash

This month is a fun challenge for us on our "Challenge Your Stash" group on Splitcoaststampers.  Jeanette is our hostess this month and she decided that August is the only month of the year without a significant holiday so she challenged us to make up a crazy holiday and create a card for it.

This is my card.  My crazy holiday is "Celebrate Snail Mail".  Who doesn't like to get a card in the mail?  I sure do so I decided to create a holiday around it.  The image I am using is "Cozy Wishes" from Simon Says Stamps.  I stamped off the image and colored it with my copic markers.  I then fussy cut the image out.  The background paper is from Good Cheer by October Afternoon.  I used a Gina Marie Floral Design for the background.  I used white embossing powder on the sentiment and then fussy cut it out.

I hope you like my holiday.  I can't wait to see what the rest of the team comes up with.

PIP Challenge #2633

This weeks challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges is being sponsored by RAM Stamps.

They have so many adorable digital stamps.  I had a hard time deciding which digital image to use.

I finally decided to use the adorable Birthday Bird image.  I printed off the image and then colored it with my copic markers.  I used a scalloped circle die to cut the image out.  The papers I used are from different scraps that I had in my stash.  I used a heart punch to cut out the blue hearrt.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure and check out all the cute images at RAM Stamps.

Creative Crew

Well the 15th of the month has rolled around again which means it is time for our Creative Crew Challenge.  Jeanette and Barb shared the job of hosting this month.  They came up with a color challenge and a sketch challenge for us which is always fun to do.

For my card I decided to have some fun with the Unity image "Just a Couple Spring Chickens" for my card.

The background paper is called Stained Rainbows by Brutus Monroe which I thought covered the colors in the challenge.  The wood background is from Adventure Awaits by Honey Bee.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure and check out what the other girls did with the challenge.

PIP Challenge #2631

Time again for another Challenge from Pammie's Inky Pinkies which will be Challenge #2631.  Our wonderful sponsor this month is Taylored Expressions.

I love all the things you can buy at Taylored Expressions.  I always look forward to their wonderful calendars and their floral stamps which are favorites of mine.

For my card today I am using the stamp "Bursting Blooms" along with the matching die.  This is an old set I have had for a long time.  I no longer see it in their shop but they have alot of other wonderful floral stamps.  I used a Jaded Blossom Stitched Arch Die for the Blue Background.  I like that it always makes the floral pop on the card.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see your creations on Pammie's Inky Pinkies
