Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps

Time again for another card from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.

The images I used were "GG0193 Heart Grass" and "EE0185 Always will circle". I also use a pink embossing folder for another one of the circles.  I then cut each 1 1/4" circles out of my cardstock and glued the images behind .  Be sure and check out some of the other new stamps from the new release from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.  Also check out what the rest of the design team came up with today on PPRS Blog.

Happy Birthday Debbi

Well today is my sister, Debbi's birthday.  I wish her the very best.  She is the most generous person you will ever meet.  She has a heart of gold and always put others first.  She is also my paper crafting buddy.  We have had so much fun in the crops we have been together on.  I guess it makes up for all the times she was mean to me as a kid.  LOL!!!!  Some day I will have to tell you about our cow incident.

She is always the life of the party so I thought this card would be perfect for her.
I decided to use the sketch above for my card design.  I used the digital stamp called "Stella - Life of the Party"  by Bugaboo Digital Stamps.  Her stamps have such personality.  You must check them out.

From The Heart Digital Stamp of the Month

Can't believe I am posting twice in one day.  But anyone from Kansas will know that it is snowing tons and I had a half day of work so Yippee, I get to work in my craft room in between shoveling 10 inches of snow.

Today's card I used From the Heart Digital Stamp of the Month for February.  It is called Birthday Candle Birdbrain.  I love these birds because they have such little personalities and so easy to color with my copic markers.

Twisted Tuesday Challenges

What a fun challenge today is over at Twisted Tuesday Challenges.  The challenge was to see a sky represented in my creation and the twist was to see something that flies in the sky.  Of course I would pick butterflies.  I just can't get enough of butterflies.

Today was my first attempt at trying the brayering technique.  Well the right way anyway.  I got the tutorial from the brayering queen Michelle Zindorf.  If you have not checked out her blog, you must.  She makes using the brayer look so easy.  And I was amazed at how well it looked once I used her technique.

Thanks for checking in.  I hope to try this technique again soon.

Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps New Release

Today I am posting a card from the New Release from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.
The images I used were "GG0185 Sleepy Time Baby" and "EE0183 Your First Breath".  I used my copic markers to color the image.  This makes an adorable baby card.  Such sweet images.  Be sure and check out some of the other new stamps from the new release from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.  Also check out what the rest of the design team came up with today on PPRS Blog.

FTHS Challenge #51

Still working on a few valentine cards.  Of course I love the Digital stamps that are designed at From The Heart Stamps.  I find that I am liking the digital stamps more all the time.  This is the sketch challenge #51.
This is my card that I designed with this sketch in mind.

I chose to use the image "Free Kitten and Heart"  because it reminds me of the 2 yellow cats I have at home.
I colored the image in with my copic markers and then stamped the sentiment on the gray designer paper.  I even added a little sewing around the long strips of paper.  I love this valentine paper.  It is from MME Lost & Found Heirloom.

I would like to enter this card in a couple other challenges.
IDIC - Valentines Day Card
That Craft Place - Valentine
The Paper Players - Valentine card or 3D Project
